CP Search UX – Zero Ruis

🎨 Definition
Zero Ruis means delivering only clean, relevant search results without distractions or noise.

Zero Ruis Principles:

  • 🧼 No ads

  • 🌀 No irrelevant pages

  • 🧩 No duplicate categories

  • 🤯 No SEO fluff like tag clouds or keyword spam

  • 👉 Every result is a curated cornerstone page — pure signal, no noise.

🗺️ Building the Ideal Search Journey

1. Simple, Universal Search Field

  • Place the search bar prominently at the top of the page.

  • Use placeholder text such as “Search by topic, brand, or theme…”.

  • Support both keyword and semantic search (e.g. typing “knutselen” returns Creative Arts & Crafts).

2. Instant Suggestions

  • Show 3–5 real CP matches while typing.

  • Include title and a short excerpt for each result.

3. Smart Filters (Optional)

Allow users to refine results by:

  • 🎨 Topic type (Health, Creativity, Tech)

  • 👤 Age group (Kids, Teens, Parents)

  • 📅 Freshness (Newly updated, Featured)

4. Result Display UX

  • Present results as cards containing:

    • Title

    • Short introduction (max 160 characters)

    • Icon or category label

    • [Explore CP →] button

  • ✅ Keep the layout spacious and easy to scan.

  • ✅ Avoid unnecessary date stamps or metadata.

💡 Bonus UX Tactics

  • ⭐ “Recommended CPs” carousel based on trending keywords.

  • 📍 Highlight the user’s search term with “You searched for…”.

  • 💬 Include an instant question button: “Didn’t find what you need? Ask CP Academy.”
